Brandon Graham knows who Eagles should take at No. 6

Brandon Graham, the Eagles’ longest-tenured player, has an idea of what the Birds should do in the first round of April’s draft.

Pretty simple plan.

“You either go Kyle (Pitts) or (Ja’Marr) Chase,” Graham said on The Farzy Show with Marc Farzetta on Thursday morning.

Farzetta pointed out that last year Graham wanted the Eagles to take a receiver with their No. 21 pick and they ended up taking Jalen Reagor. So maybe he’ll keep his streak alive in 2021.

Either pick would be a win at No. 6. LSU’s Chase is considered to be the best receiver in this draft by most and just last week NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah said a case could be made that Florida’s Pitts is the best PLAYER in the entire class.

“I like Kyle,” Graham said. “I’m starting to like Kyle a lot. It makes sense. But, you know, Kyle or Chase. Either one.”

In addition to the draft, Graham spoke to Farzetta about his goal to finish his career in Philly, the exits of Doug Pederson and Carson Wentz and the work ethic of Jalen Hurts.

As far as the draft pick goes, the Eagles will have some options. As they officially traded Wentz on Wednesday, general manager Howie Roseman said the team won’t rule out the possibility of drafting a quarterback with the No. 6 pick.

But if the Eagles decide to stick with Jalen Hurts and pass on quarterbacks this April, they could be in for some good news. On 97.5 The Fanatic on Wednesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said he thinks four quarterbacks could go in the first five picks. If that happens, it means some really good non-QBs will get pushed down the board.

In that scenario, it’s possible that Chase and Pitts will both still be on the board when the Eagles are on the clock at 6. That would be a dream scenario for Graham. Just take one of them.
