Eagles inactives: Eagles pretty healthy vs. Packers on Sunday Night Football

The Eagles are relatively healthy as they get set to play the Packers on Sunday Night Football.

While the Birds had some players on their injury report this week, no players were given game statuses and none of their inactive players are out tonight because of injury.

Of course, the Eagles do have a few key players on Injured Reserve, but we’ll get to them in a second.

As for tonight’s inactives:

CB Josh Jobe

QB Ian Book

RB Trey Sermon

OL Josh Sills

OL Sua Opeta

These are the same five inactive players the Eagles have had the last couple weeks. Jobe is getting over a hamstring injury that sidelined him but he’s still inactive for this game.

During the week, A.J. Brown missed Thursday’s practice with a stomach bug that made for a miserable Thanksgiving. On Friday, Brown said he felt about a 3 out of 10 but was hoping to make a full recovery by Sunday. He’s officially active for this game.

We mentioned that the Eagles have a few key players on Injured Reserve and the first is eligible to return next weekend against the Titans. There’s no guarantee Jordan Davis, who has a high ankle sprain, will be ready but he’s at least eligible next week.

Here’s a look at the earliest three key players can return:

Week 13 vs. Titans: Jordan Davis

Week 14 at Giants: Avonte Maddox

Week 15 at Bears: Dallas Goedert

Last week we saw 35-year-old Ndamukong Suh and 34-year-old Linval Joseph make their Eagles debuts against the Colts. Both are active again today and it’ll be interesting to see how much they play.

Joseph played 26 snaps and Suh played 17 last week. It might be somewhat unlikely we see Joseph play a ton more snaps as a nose tackle but we could see Suh’s workload ramped up as things go. Although, it’s notable that Robert Quinn played just 10 snaps last week.
