The Eagles will have to wait at least one more week to get their starting left guard back in the lineup.
The 4 p.m. deadline on Saturday has passed and Isaac Seumalo is still on Injured Reserve, which means he won’t be back for Sunday’s game against the Giants.
The Eagles did elevate CB Michael Jacquet, TE Caleb Wilson from the practice squad and they also elevated DT T.Y. McGill as a COVID-19 replacement because Marcus Epps is still on the COVID-19 list. McGill has already been elevated two times this season so this week is a bonus.

Seumalo, 27, hasn’t played since Week 2 when he hurt his knee against the Falcons. He has missed the last six weeks. This year, the NFL has a new rule that allows any player to return from IR after sitting out a minimum of three games. The Eagles activated Seumalo’s 21-day practice window earlier this week.
“[Seumalo has] done a nice job,” head coach Doug Pederson said on Friday. “He, again, was a little more on a limited basis this week. We wanted to incorporate him back into the offensive line and get him thinking football a little bit more.”
Without Seumalo the Eagles are looking at an O-line that looks like this on Sunday:
LT: Jason Peters
NFL
LG: Nate Herbig
C: Jason Kelce
RG: Matt Pryor
RT Lane Johnson
Johnson comes into this game with that nagging ankle injury, Herbig was on the injury report with a finger injury this week. But if Seumalo is back next week, the Eagles will have their opening day OL back in full.
