The trade winds and rumors started swirling furiously on Sunday morning around South Philly.
Carson Wentz's future, unsteady after he was benched for Jalen Hurts, now seems to be basically untenable, and reports emerged Sunday that Wentz will be looking for a trade this offseason because his relationship with the Eagles' organization is "fractured."
Atop Wentz's destinations of choice? A reunion with former Eagles offensive coordinator and Super Bowl LII champion Frank Reich.

It's an obvious and logical destination for all involved, including Wentz, who had his best year in the NFL under Reich's tutelage.
Except, apparently, a former Colts legend.
Former Colts All-Pro punter Pat McAfee took to Instagram on Sunday afternoon to give his take on the reported Wentz-to-Indy rumblings, and he doesn't exactly sound jazzed about the idea of his former team bringing in the Eagles' disgruntled QB:

Rodgers is obviously a pipe dream for anyone, considering he's guaranteed a ton of money in Green Bay and has showed no sign of slowing down, despite the Packers drafting his replacement in 2020 in Jordan Love. I can't imagine the Packers will want to move on from Rodgers while he's at the peak of his powers.
But Matthew Stafford definitely represents an older, more established option for QB-needy teams this offseason. There are rumblings that Stafford could move on from Detroit after this season if the Lions look to revamp the entire organization and start anew.
Stafford, 32, carries a $59 million cap hit over the next two seasons, while Wentz is locked in to big money for the next four years. It's sort of a two paths in the woods-type situation for teams looking to land a QB: more established and less pricey QB with a smaller window, or younger and more pricey QB with less certainty on his skill level next season?
