Here's a 1st look at Eagles' opponents in 2021

With the Eagles’ clinching last place in the NFC East, we now know the opponents for all 17 games next season if there are indeed 17 games.

It if happens for 2021, that 17th game will “be an inter-conference matchup based on divisional standings” from the previous season and will be “on a rotating divisional basis,” according to NFL.com.

According to a report, the NFC East will face the AFC East for that 17th game in 2021, which means the Eagles will face the Jets. It’s unclear if that game will be home or away.

Coming into Sunday, we already knew most of the Eagles’ 2021 opponents. We were just waiting to see which team they would face at home in the NFC West and which team they’d face on the road in the NFC North. Those teams ended up being the 49ers and Lions, who also finished in last place in their respective divisions.

The schedule is usually released in April.
