Washington having more COVID-19 issues days before Eagles game

Just days until Washington comes to Philadelphia to play in a very important Week 15 game, the Washington Football Team continues to deal with a COVID-19 outbreak.

On Tuesday, Washington added CB Kendall Fuller and DT Tim Settle to the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Fuller is a starting cornerback and Settle is a rotational defensive lineman.

This news comes a day after the Bills placed four other players on the COVID-19 list, including star defensive tackle Jonathan Allen.

The good news for Washington is they were able to activate CB Darryl Roberts off the COVID list on Tuesday and they also elevated safety Jeremy Reaves from the practice squad as a COVID elevation.

But just several days before they have to travel to Philly, Washington has 10 players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list: DT Jonathan Allen, DE Will Bradley-King, CB Kendall Fuller, TE Temarrick Hemingway, LB Khaleke Hudson, LB David Mayo, DT Tim Settle, DE James Smith-Williams, DE Montez Sweat, DE Casey Toohill.

The Eagles have just one player from their active roster on the COVID-19 list; they added WR Quez Watkins to the list on Monday.

The Eagles on Tuesday protected four practice squad players, including receiver John Hightower, who could be a potential elevation this weekend if Watkins can’t play.
