Week 10 was full of division showdowns that all played a big part in the standings. Now, as we inch toward the final quarter of the season, let’s see what the latest power rankings look like.

The Jets finally had their bye week and while their season is essentially a lost cause by now – at least no one had to endure watching them for a little bit. Sitting at 0-9, it’ll be shocking to see if they can pull off a single win in 2020 at this rate.

Heading into this game against the Packers, one would think this was going to be a clear loss for the Jaguars, but they actually put up a decent fight. While moral victories mean next to nothing at this point of the season – especially with a now 1-8 record – it’s good to see they at least haven’t checked out on the season.

This could’ve been anyone’s game, given how back and forth both Washington and the Lions have been so far this season. After finding themselves with a 21-point deficit in the second quarter, Washington finally got the gears going and made this a very interesting game in the final minutes. While it looked like they were headed to overtime, a costly penalty deflated their hopes in winning their third game of the season.

The Cowboys finally made it to their bye. While this is a lost season for them – given their ample amount of injuries – stepping away for a bit seemed very necessary for this Dallas team. Looking ahead to next week versus the Vikings, who have finally started to make something out of their season, it doesn’t seem very promising.

This was the first time the Texans and Browns faced each other since 2014, and prior to that, they held a five-game winning streak against Cleveland, as well. All things must come to an end though – and it was a pretty boring way to do so. While their defense wasn’t a strong point, the offense was just as weak, putting up a mere seven points.

No one ever knows what to expect when it comes to the NFC East this season, but given the Eagles were coming off a win against the Cowboys and a bye … it just seemed like this wasn’t going to go the Giants’ way. So naturally, it did. This win very much keeps them in the running for a spot in the playoffs, as absurd as it sounds.

As the season progresses, the Chargers continue to fall in the rankings. While they might as well just pack things up for the season, there are a lot of things that need to start being addressed with this Los Angeles team. While their defense had one of their better days, it wasn’t enough to stop the Dolphins.

It’s a shame that the Falcons blew so many late leads in the beginning of the season, because it finally looks like things are clicking for them. Of course, their defense is a wet blanket in comparison to the entire dynamic of the team and they’ll never be able to fully progress forward without addressing it, but it’s good to know there are still positives.

The Bengals were fresh off of a bye week, but were headed to Steel City to face the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL this season. To be honest, they didn’t really stand a chance against Pittsburgh, who has found a way to dominate in every one of their nine games. The Bengals aren’t even in the same league (metaphorically speaking, of course) as the Steelers when it comes to talent and execution. It was just one of those weeks.

The Lions hosted Washington and were looking to finally cross that first home win of the season off their list. For the majority of this one, the Lions held their own, but when they finally let down their guard – Washington took full advantage. With a tie game heading into the final moments, Washington had a costly penalty that helped nudge Detroit into a more suitable field goal range, where Matt Prater hit a 59-yarder to win it.

It was a rival week for the Broncos, as they were off to visit the Raiders for the first time this season and luck just wasn’t on their side for this one. The defense struggled to stop Derek Carr and the Raiders’ offense in just about every attempt. On the other side of things, their offense didn’t do nearly enough to give them a chance in this.

The Eagles had one job to do this season and they’d have a one-way ticket to the playoffs … well, that didn’t happen this week. Based on the production around the NFC East, if the Eagles were to win every division game moving forward, they’d emerge as clear favorites, but they lost to the Giants. So, there’s that.

The Panthers entered this week against the Buccaneers with hopes of not extending their losing streak to five games. Unfortunately, hope isn’t the only thing a team needs to win a game – showing up is also important – and the Panthers did not do that, especially in the second half.

It wasn’t a perfect win, but after weeks of having an identity crisis to start the season, it finally looks like the Vikings are finding themselves along with their strong points. They dominated in just about every stat and are now just one win away from balancing the scale.

Given how the Patriots have just looked like a complete mess the past few weeks, no one was really expecting them to put up any kind of fight against the Ravens. So of course, they went out and had one of their best outings of the season.

The 49ers continue their fall on this power rankings list each week – something not many would have expected at the start of this season. While it looked like they were off to a promising start against the Saints, it didn’t last very long. After the 49ers created a 10-point lead, the Saints scored the next 27 points and never gave up their lead again.

It was a bad loss for the Bears Monday night against the Vikings, but things might only continue to worsen as news unfolds. In the final moments of the game, Nick Foles went down with what looked like a significant injury. Their offense hasn’t been the strongest to begin with and concern will only continue to grow if they’ll be without Foles for any time.

While the weather wasn’t too great (a big understatement), the Browns hosted the Texans in one of the lower scoring games across the league this season. It wasn’t one of their more impressive wins, but this does push them to 6-3 on the year and in the AFC North where there’s very little wiggle room, that’s a big deal.

It’s rare to see Russell Wilson struggle, but the Rams definitely didn’t make this an easy matchup for the Seahawks. The defense sacked Wilson a whopping six times and wasn’t able to throw a single touchdown on the day.

The Raiders hosted the Broncos this past week and made things look easy – producing consistent offense from start to finish and holding things down on the defensive side of things too.

This was a big division game for the Titans – and after having a few recent unsuccessful weeks, a win against the Colts could’ve given them back some confidence they’ve been lacking recently. Even with holding a lead going into the half, the Colts persisted and pulled off a win, scoring the last 24 points of the game.

The Colts have quietly had a strong season and it seems like they haven’t been discussed in length like some of these other top teams. Their win over the Titans this week just further proves that they aren’t messing around and are an actual threat. This win also nudged them into first place in the AFC South.

This was a great win for the Cardinals as they continue to stick with their theme of the season – finding ways to win. Coming out of the half, it didn’t seem likely they had a chance against the Bills and then bam – the Cardinals rally from behind and pull off a close win.

Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins have been one of the most surprising teams through this point of the season. While the Chargers have not had their best season to date, this was a game that the Dolphins controlled. With the Patriots nowhere near the conversations of making the playoffs, the Dolphins have their first realistic shot and making an appearance in quite some time.

The Seahawks came out on such a high note to start 2020, that it’s been a curveball to watch them falter as much as they have been the past three weeks. Russell Wilson had a difficult week and was sacked six times, lost a fumble and had two interceptions. It’s probably a week he’s going to want to leave in the past.

The Buccaneers had the worst game of their season last week – scoring just three points. It’d be foolish to think they were going to come into this week against the Panthers anything other than motivated to squash that loss. They did that offensively alone, putting up 46 points.

This was an interesting week for the Ravens – considering this is a game they will very much want back in the future. The Patriots have not been a difficult team to face this year, but they were for the Ravens. Their defense struggled against New England’s running game and they now sit three games out of first place in their division.

The start of the season made it seem like the Saints weren’t going to have a strong season, but it’s safe to say those thoughts are a thing of the past. Since going 1-2 in the first three weeks, they’ve hit a five-game winning streak and sit on top of the NFC South.

This was one of the more fun matchups of the week, given both teams have had strong seasons to this point. It looked like this one was heading in the Bills’ direction by the half since they held the Cardinals to just three field goals. Even after, they continued to add to their lead, but as good as their offense had been – their defense ruined it.

The Jaguars haven’t been much of a threat this season, so it was surprising to see them put up a decent fight against the Packers, a team that – for the most past – have dominated their season so far. The game started to take shape toward the half though as the Packers finally got the offense moving a bit.

The Chiefs had their bye this week and while they didn’t necessarily need it – since they are in the midst of a four-game winning streak – it’s always good to recharge. The Chiefs have been holding their own since the start of the season and proving just why they are the reigning Super Bowl champions.

The Steelers still find themselves with a perfect 9-0 record through 10 weeks and at the moment, it doesn’t look like any team in the league can stop them.
