Which Eagles player in locker room yelled ‘catch the football!'

Anyone who watched the Eagles fall to the Panthers on Sunday night probably thought the same exact thing: "Catch the f'n football."

But it's another thing for a player on the team to openly scream about it in the locker room following the lackluster performance, as CSN's John Clark reported an unnamed player yelled last night.

Who do you think it was? Someone on the offensive side of the ball upset with their own showing? Or someone on the defensive side of things whose frustration has reached a boiling point?

We've got a whole off week to think about a 3-4 team who is behind the Redskins in the standings, so may as well try and do some investigative work. Sure seems more fun than trying to figure out what's wrong with this team.

A popular guess is Malcolm Jenkins, who told reporters after the game that plenty of guys on the Eagles need to look in the mirror during the bye week.

Regardless of who the blunt player was, the drops were historically bad.

Jordan Matthews called it embarrassing afterwards (see story), “And I feel like I’m No. 1 on the list of guys to take that responsibility on my shoulders to get it fixed. It’s not who we are as a team. It’s not who I want to be as a player. It’s gotta get fixed. It’s just embarrassing. I don’t know what to say about it.”

I think it would be better for everyone involved if the Eagles' receivers listened to the angry player in the locker room and just caught the ball going forward.
