The Flyers will open their 2013 season when they host the Pittsburgh Penguins in an Atlantic Division showdown at Wells Fargo Center at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19.

The Penn State-Vermont game, which was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Wells Fargo on Jan. 19, has been pushed back to an 8:15 p.m. start.
The NHL's regular season was supposed to begin on Oct. 11, but the lockout wrecked those plans after it took effect on Sept. 16.
