Don’t worry everyone, Gritty is OK.
The widely-loved Flyers mascot did not tweet since the team’s last game at the Wells Fargo Center. There, Gritty trolled Brad Marchand for overskating the puck in a shootout "attempt" the previous time the Bruins were in Philadelphia.
It was a simpler time, that’s for sure.
A full week came and went and during that time, the NHL season had been put on hold. It’s been a difficult time adjusting for sure, but thankfully Gritty finally gave us the highly anticipated update everyone had been waiting for and in perfect Gritty fashion — a classic iPhone note.
(Image credit: @GrittyNHL)With the toilet paper fort, Osmosis Jones (a.k.a the best movie you have ever been forced to watch in a science class) and possible immunity to COVID-19 … Gritty is doing just fine.
Now, I wonder ... how is Claw’d doing? Is Gritty social distancing by himself in the Wells Fargo Center or has he moved to a new home? Does Gritty have enough hotdogs to last until the season resumes? Can Gritty forward a P.O. box so I can send the first two seasons of Lost?
OK, I suppose there are still many unanswered questions. Hopefully a new updated note will come out soon.
