People on Twitter can be very nasty. This is a fact. For some reason the people behind a keyboard and a social media account feel a little bit bolder and a little bit meaner.
But that's not always the case.
There are plenty of level-headed people who say somewhat intelligent things from time to time.
So it's understandable when a guy like Jake Voracek lashes out a little. Even if the target of his outburst was joking.
I think the moral of this story is that sometimes athletes read what is written about them even if some of them claim not to. And that some people aren't great at detecting sarcasm.
Voracek could return next week from his lower-body injury. All of this tweet fun started because Broad Street Hockey took a look at who could see less ice time when Jake returns.
