Kevin Hayes adds reporter to résumé after talking Super Bowl predictions with Flyers

He's one of the biggest assets on the Flyers' penalty kill, used to ref, is a comedian on the ice when mic'd up and now? We can add reporter to the long list of accomplishments for Kevin Hayes.

Leading up to the second biggest sporting event of the year (the Puppy Bowl being the first, of course), Hayes went "Live" on Flyers TV, interviewing some of his teammates about the Super Bowl.

Brian Elliott was first up and it's safe to say he was not about it.

But it seemed like the captain Claude Giroux was enjoying the interview.

Funny enough, both Elliott and Giroux had the 49ers winning by three points with the same exact score.

Finally, some of the players were pulling for Andy Reid and his Chiefs when it was James van Riemsdyk's turn to talk to the new reporter.

And even Ivan Provorov believes it's the Chiefs' year, though he picked quite an interesting final score of the game, 20-16.

"They have to go for the two points," Provorov said.

It seems like he and the Flyers know a lot about the need for two points.

And, of course, the man himself couldn't end the day without giving his prediction, too.

Hayes interviewing his teammates on the regular seems like it could be quite an entertaining bit from the Flyers. Let's hope it continues in the future for everyone's sake.
