NHL trade deadline 2020: Complete list of Metropolitan Division moves

The NHL trade deadline woke up bright and early Monday morning, ahead of the 3 p.m. ET deadline, driven largely by the Flyers' Metro Division rivals. We have a running list below of every Metro Division move, which will be updated throughout the day:

3:50 p.m. - Washington trade trickles in

Some post-deadline action from the Caps:

Djoos and Sprong are both really good names. They've played a combined 10 games this year.

2:50 p.m. - Carolina makes one last push

The Hurricanes aren't going down swinging before the deadline is over:

Vatanen, 28, is a relatively productive scoring D-man with lots of good hockey ahead of him.

2:28 p.m. - Penguins keep dealing

Pittsburgh is loading up for another run at the Cup:

Connor Sheary makes his return to Pittsburgh after 133 games away.

11:50 a.m. - Former Flyer on the move

Wayne Simmonds is leaving that on-fire hockey franchise in New Jersey:

Simmonds, 31, is still pretty good at hockey. The Sabres aren't making the playoffs this year, but the future in Buffalo is intriguing.

11:33 a.m. - Flyers strike again!

Derek Grant is heading to Philadelphia, folks:

NBC Sports Philadelphia' Jordan Hall outlined here why Grant is a fit for the Flyers as they barrel towards the postseason.

11:00 a.m. - Penguins add scoring depth

On the other side of the state, veteran Patrick Marleau is heading to the Penguins:

The Sharks get back a third-round pick, which reportedly becomes a second-round pick if the Pens win the Stanley Cup. Steep for a vet, but the Pens are firmly in the title hunt.

10:49 a.m. - Hey look, the Flyers!

The Flyers chime in on a busy day with a move for defenseman Nate Thompson in exchange for a fifth-round pick.

NBC Sports Philadelphia's Jordan Hall has you covered with more info here.

10:11 a.m. - Hurricanes go big, land Trocheck from Panthers

Carolina is putting the pressure on from the bottom half of the Metro with a deal for Vincent Trocheck:

The Panthers reportedly land a pair of players and a pair of prospects in return.

9:46 a.m. - J.G. Pageau heads to the Islanders

It's a pricey move, but New York lands a young, productive stud for a stretch run:

The Flyers were reportedly interested in Pageau, but didn't want to pay Ottawa's price:

Ottawa reportedly netted a 2020 first-round pick, 2020 second-round pick, and 2022 third-round pick for Pageau.
