A member of the 2021-22 Philadelphia Flyers won the Stanley Cup on Sunday night!
Nicholas Aube-Kubel, the 2014 second-round pick who spent 102 games with the Flyers since 2018-19, hoisted Lord Stanley's trophy after the Avalanche beat the Lightning in six games to claim their first title in two decades.
Aube-Kubel was waived back in November when the Flyers needed to create cap space, and was promptly picked up by the Avs. The 26-year-old went on to tally 11 goals, 11 assists, and post a plus-11 (all career-best marks) on the best team in hockey and wound up winning it all. Good for NAK!

MORE: Even in offseason, Flyers dealing with troubling injury news
And how'd the ex-Flyer celebrate his first NHL championship? By launching pro sports' most-celebrated trophy right into the ice and giving it a nice dent, of course.
Here's the moment things went left for the Alberta native, who was lugging the Cup over to the rest of the team for the classic "whole squad" photo:
MAN DOWN.
Upon further review, it looks like Aube-Kubel just ... got caught on his own skates? Is that a dive? It's certainly not a trip. Let's get Dave Jackson in here on the call.
The Avs' collective reaction faces to Aube-Kubel going down are just absolute money:
And honestly, if you're gonna bonk the Cup you might as well get your money's worth. This wasn't just a scrape. The Cup folks are going to have their work cut out over the next 24 hours to get that bad boy parade ready.
Look at the size of the dent!
Body-slamming the Stanley Cup for no good reason: there's that Broad Street Bullies ethos NAK absorbed during his time in Philly. Enjoy the celebration, Nic.
