Three days after suffering a bad loss to Detroit, the Flyers (15-23-8) get a rematch with the Red Wings (21-21-6) on the road Saturday.

Let's get into the essentials for the game:

  • When: Noon ET with Flyers Pregame Live at 11:30 a.m. ET
  • Where: Little Caesars Arena
  • Broadcast: NBC Sports Philadelphia
  • Live stream: NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com and the NBC Sports MyTeams app

• Rasmus Ristolainen is out for today's game and Kevin Connauton will enter the lineup in his place.

"He's a little bit banged up," Flyers interim head coach Mike Yeo said Thursday. "I would consider him day to day."

The Flyers have a litany of injuries. They officially lost Sean Couturier for the rest of the season as the first-line center underwent back surgery Friday.

The club is also without Joel Farabee (upper body), Kevin Hayes (abdominal)Ryan Ellis (lower body), Patrick Brown (MCL sprain), Wade Allison (MCL sprain) and Nate Thompson (shoulder).

• The Flyers were flat out of the All-Star break Wednesday when they lost to the Red Wings, 6-3, at home.

"Good thing is we get these guys on Saturday and get another crack at them," Scott Laughton said after the loss. "We just need to play tighter, more communication and that's when we play our best."
