Skills with Vegas flavor, apparently:
"Competition takes place on the iconic Bellagio fountains. Players will travel by boat to the 'rink' and are required to successfully shoot pucks into five targets in the least amount of time. Qualifying players move to the head-to-head final. Fountain spray and the breeze off the Strip will add to the challenge of this unprecedented NHL All-Star Skills event."
Should be pretty fun.
Here are Giroux's challengers at the Bellagio:
- Jonathan Huberdeau, Panthers
- Jordan Eberle, Kraken
- Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson
- Roman Josi, Predators
- Nick Suzuki, Canadiens
- Zach Werenski, Blue Jackets
- Mark Stone, Golden Knights

Giroux is representing the Flyers at the All-Star Game for the seventh time in his career.

He'll take in the weekend with his wife Ryanne and their 2-year-old son Gavin.
"I always enjoy it," Giroux said Wednesday in an interview with Flyers senior director of communications Zack Hill. "Any time you get to go play with the best in the league, it's always great. This year is a little bit more special with having Gavin coming with us, so it should be some good memories."

The All-Star Game is Saturday (3 p.m. ET/ABC). With Alex Ovechkin out because of COVID protocols, Giroux will captain the Metropolitan Division team.
At 34 and in a contract year, Giroux is having another strong season despite the Flyers falling well short of expectations. He leads the team in assists (20) and is second in both goals (15) and points (35).
The Flyers have been hit hard by injuries and entered the All-Star break at 15-22-8.
"He’s our captain, he’s been our best player this year," Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher said last Wednesday. "Nobody cares more about the Flyers than he does."
