Carter Hart was scratched from the Flyers' home game Monday afternoon against the Hurricanes because of an eye infection.
The infection has caused swelling, which forced the Flyers to rule him out during the morning.
"Obviously a big issue for his vision," Mike Yeo said before the game.

Yeo said the Flyers are hopeful Hart will be available Tuesday at home against the Blues (7 p.m. ET/NBCSP) but the interim head coach was "not 100 percent sure."
Update: Hart misses 2nd straight game with eye infection
With Hart out against Carolina, Martin Jones started in net. Kirill Ustimenko was called up from AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley to back up.
