Wrestler rips Philadelphians, Gritty and Carson Wentz at Wells Fargo Center

If RAW is WAR, then this is certainly war.

Last night, the Wells Fargo Center welcomed the WWE for another night of Monday Night Raw, where Elias, one of the biggest heels in the game, went after Philadelphians and took a shot at Gritty during his Walk With Elias concert tour.

Here’s what he said.

He begins with a story about going to lunch with Carson Wentz and saying that our QB doesn’t truly care about the people in this city. He goes on to liken the appearance of Philadelphians to Gritty, the beautiful new Flyers mascot.

There’s something to be said, however, for how Elias plays the heel role and sits in front of tens of thousands of fans and makes fun of them. That takes some guts. However, you have got to leave Gritty out of this. Hasn’t he been through enough? Plus, how are you going to make fun of the guy while sitting inside his house?

That’s a bold move, Elias. Here’s hoping that Gritty is cooking up an epic response right now.

Update: Gritty responded.
