Harper's newest signature cleats are sick

The Phillies rookie third baseman has been on a tear recently, especially in the absence of some of the biggest names on the roster. Is it enough to name him NL RoY?

Does anyone else get excited when athletes release new signature shoes? Even if you don't play the sport, seeing the collaborative effort between a player and brand is always pretty cool.

Under Armour on Friday released the first preview for Bryce Harper's latest cleats, the Harper 5.

Here's the first look of the cleats, that come in five different colors:

"He didn't just sign off on this cleat, he actually helped us build it," the Under Armour website states. "Every technology we used was fine-tuned to fit his style of play. Bryce made sure that every last detail, from design decisions to colorway stories, was just right."

Do you think the cleats will also help anyone launch a baseball into Tony Luke's concession at the ballpark? If so, I'll take a set in every color.

You can pre order the shoes now, which are set to be released before Oct. 1.
