Rose was a key member of the Phillies' 1980 World Series Championship team. Many members of that team, including Bowa, Mike Schmidt, Greg Luzinski, Steve Carlton and others will be on hand for Alumni Day festivities.
The alumni celebration commences Thursday night August 4. Fans attending that night's game against Washington will receive a Schmidt 1980 World Series replica ring.
The feature event of Alumni Weekend will happen on Saturday night August 6 when two members of the 1980 team, outfielder Bake McBride and relief pitcher Ron Reed, will be inducted onto the Wall of Fame before the game against Washington.
Rose will be introduced with former teammates during Sunday's celebration.

Rose was banned from baseball in August 1989 after admitting to betting on Major League games during his time as manager of the Cincinnati Reds. He has not been to a Phillies game in Philadelphia since.
The Phillies confirmed that Rose would be in attendance with former teammates on August 7. The team was planning to announce more details during the coming week.
