Watch: Stairs on broadcasting, Broxton and more

New Phillies broadcaster Matt Stairs checked in on "Philly Sports Talk" on Tuesday and played a snappy game of Quick Six.

Known for hitting long home runs, especially off the Dodgers’ Jonathan Broxton in the 2008 NLCS, as well as his days coaching high school hockey, Stairs was dealt some questions right in his wheelhouse from host Michael Barkann.

Those included the longest home run he ever hit in his career.

"I hit it 482 feet [off] Wade Miller in Houston," Stairs said.

Stairs was also asked what's been the toughest transition to broadcasting?

"You can’t swear," he replied.

Barkann even got in a question about Broxton and whether Stairs exchanges pleasantries with the closer by sending him a Christmas card.

"No, but I show up on his doorstep and sing happy birthday every year," Stairs said.
