BOX SCORE

LOS ANGELES -- Jahlil Okafor scored 23 points off the bench, but it wasn’t nearly enough as the Los Angeles Clippers blew past the Sixers, 130-99, Saturday evening to hand them their second loss in as many nights.

DeAndre Jordan had a season-high 22 points and 13 rebounds and Chris Paul had 15 points and 14 assists to lead the Clippers. Austin Rivers added 26 points off the bench.

The Clippers (22-13) led by as many as 39 points in the second half and reached 100 points with 1:20 left in the third quarter. It was their largest victory of the season.

The 76ers (3-33) committed only 12 turnovers and shot a respectable 46.1 percent, but still lost their eighth straight to the Clippers dating back to the 2010-11 season.

Nik Stauskas had 18 points off the bench and Nerlens Noel had 13 points and eight rebounds for the Sixers.

DeAndre problems
The Sixers simply had no answer down low for Jordan.

All of his nine field goals came on dunks, most of them emphatic slams that brought a sold-out Staples Center to its feet. He finished 9 of 10 from the field and set his new season-high in scoring despite sitting the entire fourth quarter.

Leaky defense
The Sixers' defense certainly had a night to forget, beyond just their problems with Jordan.

The Clippers scored at will from just about everywhere on the floor, shooting a season-best 60.5 percent from the field to eclipse their previous single game-high of 122 points.

The Clippers had 69 points by halftime and 103 at the end of three quarters. Overall, they scored 48 points in the paint, shot 12 of 23 from 3-point range and had six players in double figures.

It was the fourth time this season the Sixers have allowed an opponent to shoot at least 60 percent.

Cold guards
The 76ers' starting backcourt had its second straight awful shooting night.

Ish Smith scored four points on 2 of 9 shooting and Isaiah Canaan was scoreless after going 0 of 5 from the floor.

The duo shot a combined 5 for 30, including 1 of 10 from 3-point range, in the Sixers’ previous game against the Lakers on Friday night.

Turning point
The Sixers stayed within striking distance until the Clippers wrapped two runs around halftime to turn the game into a rout.

The Sixers trailed just 55-48 late in the second quarter, but the Clippers closed the half on a 14-4 run. They then opened the second half on a 7-3 spurt take a 76-55 lead by the 10:18 mark of the third quarter.

The Sixers never got within 17 points the rest of the way.

Up next
The 76ers return home to face the Minnesota Timberwolves (12-22) on Monday. The contest kicks off a six-game homestand for the Sixers.

The Sixers lost to the Timberwolves, 100-95, on Nov. 23.
