Amy Fadool and Hall of Fame basketball coach Herb Magee break down the positives and negatives of Ben Simmons’ shooting form from the free throw line.

If things go as planned for the Sixers, they'll be playing a lot of basketball games in 2019-20, into June.

We now know the first five.

The team announced their preseason schedule Monday. It begins on Oct. 8 at Wells Fargo against the Guangzhou Loong-Lions, a Chinese Basketball Association team which features former Sixer Marreese Speights.

The Sixers also started preseason play against an international opponent last season, playing Melbourne United in Philadelphia. They then traveled overseas for matchups against the Mavericks in China.

This preseason campaign looks a lot less grueling, with home games against the Pistons and Wizards and no international trips — or even games on the West Coast, for that matter.

The team's full schedule is below.

Oct. 8: Sixers vs. Guangzhou Loong-Lions, 7 p.m. (NBC Sports Philadelphia)
Oct. 11: Sixers at Charlotte Hornets, 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 13: Sixers at Orlando Magic, 6 p.m.
Oct. 15: Sixers vs. Detroit Pistons, 7 p.m. (NBC Sports Philadelphia Plus)
Oct. 18: Sixers vs. Washington Wizards, 7 p.m. (NBC Sports Philadelphia)
