HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- Eli Pemberton scored 21 points, Desure Buie added 20 and Hofstra pulled away late in the first half and cruised to a 90-63 victory over Delaware on Thursday night.
Pemberton was 7 of 12 from the floor and Buie made four 3-pointers and was 8-of-17 shooting from the field. Justin Wright-Foreman had 15 points and Jalen Ray chipped in 10 for Hofstra (12-7, 5-2 Colonial Athletic Association), which has won five of its last six games.

Ryan Allen scored 16 points, Anthony Mosley added 15 and Ryan Daly 13 for Delaware (11-9, 4-3).
The Pride used a 25-11 run that spanned the halves for a 55-39 lead with 14:42 to play and cruised from there. Rokas Gustys scored six of his eight points, Pemberton added another six points and Wright-Foreman had five during the stretch.
