Villanova's season may be over, but Josh Hart is still in the running for a trophy of his own.
Hart was named one of four finalists for the James A. Naismith award, given to the nation's best player.
Hart is joined by Kansas' Frank Mason III, UCLA's Lonzo Ball and Purdue's Caleb Swanigan as finalists.
Hart averaged 18.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3 assists in his senior season, taking home Big East Player of the Year honors.
The winner will be announced Sunday, April 2, the day before the championship game.
Hart led Villanova to a 31-3 regular season record and the No.1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament before the Wildcats fell in the Round of 32 to Wisconsin Saturday.
Hart failed to get off a potential game-tying shot on 'Nova's final possession (see story), as No. 8 Wisconsin went on to win 65-62.
