With the Phillies down and the Mets at bat with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th, JC Romero was in trouble. Fernando Tatis looked ready to play the hero again... He chopped a ball toward shallow right, but it was just a bit too close to the infield cutout.
Would have been a much different game if that ball landed... Resting somewhere in the tri-state area, Harry Kalas could be heard declaring exactly who is the man.
