The Baseball Hall of Fame will go through their voting process in the coming weeks to induct the next class of ball players to get their mug on a plaque in Cooperstown. You may have been reminded of this when the folks over at Deadspin made a mockery of the process by purchasing one baseball writers vote. Pretty amazing.
But what does this have to do with Philadelphia sports? Not much. But talking person Howard Eskin took to Twitter yesterday to state his opinion on whether former Phillies pitcher Curt Schilling was worthy.
Players that didn't make it last year @baseballhall curt Schilling @gehrig38,jeff bagwell should fail again this year.

Schilling seemingly responded today:
The day Howard Eskin's opinion matters to me, or to the HoF, will be the day the HoF ceases to be a special place.

As for whether or not Schilling is actually a Hall of Famer, please refer to our previous post on the matter from last year.
