Saturdays mean college football and for today the Temple Owls get a chance to shine on the big stage as they look to pick up their first win against Penn State since 1941. Al Golden has his team playing good football after three weeks but even though Penn State has shown some weaknesses and are sending a freshman behind center, Temple still has some work to do to close the gap between them and the Nittany Lions.
Since the resumption of this series the Owls have yet to score a touchdown against Penn State but there is hope that Bernard Pierce will break that trend today. Will it be enough? Can Penn State's Evan Royster find a way to break out of his season-starting slump?
Nick Menta from WHIP Temple Student Radio joins me (Kevin McGuire, PSUExaminer.com and CFBExaminer.com) today to discuss the game with you live from the press box in Happy Valley! Have a question about the game? Send it in right here!
Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and the game will be seen on Big Ten Network. Check your local listings.
