McNabb: I'm most over-criticized QB ever

Share

Another day. Another Donovan McNabb appearance on ESPN's First Take. Another headache -- probably from slamming your head on the table.

On Friday, the former Eagles quarterback followed up Thursday's masterful performance in which he said RGIII wasn't a fit in Washington and that he (McNabb) was misused with the Redskins (see story).

This time (thanks to ProFootballTalk), McNabb said he is the most unfairly criticized quarterback in NFL history. Really.

Skip Bayless: "Tim Tebow is the most unfairly, over-criticized quarterback in the history of this league."

McNabb: "NegativeI am. I am. Nobody has been criticized as much as I have.

Doh!

Sure, McNabb has been criticized plenty during his NFL career, but much of it was warranted. At times, it wasn't, but really? The most over-criticized quarterback in NFL history?

For the second day in a row ... sour grapes.
