NBC Sports Philadelphia's Sixers playoff game posts best Sixers rating since 2002-03 season

PHILADELPHIA- (April 16, 2018) – NBC Sports Philadelphia continues to be the place for exclusive multiplatform playoff coverage of the Philadelphia 76ers including live game broadcasts, pre and postgame programs, and exclusive content available online and on social media channels. The team returns to the court tonight, after setting record ratings on NBC Sports Philadelphia on Saturday night. 

Game One against the Miami Heat delivered a 6.1 HH rating (175,000 households) on NBC Sports Philadelphia, out-delivering the ESPN broadcast by 25%.  It was the highest-rated Sixers game broadcast on the network since May 10, 2003. Saturday’s live stream also saw 20,000 uniques, streaming 1.3 million minutes.

During the regular season, the Sixers on NBC Sports Philadelphia averaged a 2.4 HH rating, up 45% over the 2016-17 season, making this season the highest rated since 2011-12. NBC Sports Philadelphia’s streaming of the Sixers season was up 287% for uniques per game, and 293% for minutes consumed per game compared to last season.  It was the most-streamed season ever for the 76ers on the NBC Sports Philadelphia.
