Albert Pujols is a world champion but that doesn't seem to be good enough for him. He feels that the MVP of the league should play on a team who makes the playoffs. While his argument isn't completely off base and many media types would agree, Pujols making his thoughts public make him look like a sore loser. In my opinion you could have flipped a coin to decide who the MVP of the NL was this season. Howard and Pujols both had beastly seasons. In the end though, the number 58 surely loomed in voters minds and Howard was given the edge. Pujols should await his World Series jewelry and smile at the fact he is a world champion instead of complaining about the MVP voting -- even if his argument may have some credence.
