According to Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.com, Philadelphia Phillies reliever Antonio Bastardo is among the players MLB will suspend 50 games for their involvement in the Biogenesis scandal. Rosenthal says that Bastardo will accept the 50-game suspension.
Among players accepting 50-game suspensions: #Rangers’ Cruz, #Tigers’ Peralta, #Phlllies’ Bastardo, #Mets’ Valdespin, #Padres’ Cabrera.

The Phillies bullpen is the last place I would expect a PED user to be.

Bastardo was having a solid year with a 2.32 ERA being the lowest of his career but his SO/9 and SO/BB rates were down and he's been handing out plenty of free passes per usual. Looks like a crappy bullpen will get even crappier.
