From CSNWashington.com: "An enhanced MRI of Stephen Strasburg's right arm has revealed a"significant" tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow whichwill probably require Tommy John surgery, Washington Nationals generalmanager Mike Rizzo said during a conference call this morning."
Strasburg injured his arm while pitching in Philly on Saturday. This is a tremendous blow to a franchise trying to turn things around. Their best player could now miss 12-18 months.
