If you're anything at all like me and you haven't even really began to notice that the NHL season didn't drop their first puck of the season last week were on vacation getting nice and socially lubricated at Oktoberfest in Germany, you may have overlooked the fact that, in addition to a couple of Flyers suiting up over in Europe, some of the younger orange and black players have been playing for the Adirondack Phantoms.
Brayden Schenn and Sean Couturier played in the Phantoms season opener over the weekend and Schenner showed off some sick stick skills on a one-on-one breakaway that actually started to make me miss hockey for the first time.
