Scouting report
A 2011 undrafted free agent out of tiny Newberry College in South Carolina, Parker bounced around for three teams in his first two years before Andy Reid claimed him off waivers. Parker has played corner and safety, filling in for injuries, along with playing on special teams. He started 15 games this past season and took over at safety after Eric Berry was diagnosed with lymphoma. Parker finished 2015 with an interception, sack and forced fumble. He has three career picks, two sacks and two forced fumbles in 42 games, 16 of which he started. He made $645,000 last year.

Geoff’s take
Don’t know much about him but I definitely like what I’ve read and researched. He’s young and versatile, which should appeal to Chip Kelly, especially since Parker can play corner and safety. I’d probably give him a look at safety, which will be a tougher position for the Eagles to address this offseason. The Kansas City Star reported that he’s seeking $6 million per year. That’s a little pricey given his experience, but the Eagles should still consider him.

Roob’s take
Yeah, the Eagles are desperate for defensive back help, but $5 million to $6 million per year for a guy with Parker’s limited résumé? No thanks. Parker is a one-year starter who’s been on four teams in four years. As a former undrafted free agent out of a low-profile college, you’d expect him to have a high ceiling and room to grow, but I’m not spending that kind of money on a part-time player who’s bounced around the league for four years.
