Eagles injury report: Good signs for Derek Barnett and Corey Clement

Updated: 3:31 p.m.

There was some good news on the injury front as the Eagles got on the field on Tuesday afternoon for practice.

Corey Clement (quad) and Derek Barnett (shoulder) were on the field. And both were full participants.

Now, Tuesday’s practice is the only one of the week and the Eagles weren’t even in full pads as they have just a few days to recover for Thursday night’s game. But having those two back on the field is still a good sign.

In Monday’s injury report (which was estimated because they held a walkthrough), Barnett was listed as “did not practice,” so it seems like he’s improving.

Here's the full report:

Did not practice: Darren Sproles (hamstring), Haloti Ngata (calf), Nate Gerry (knee, ankle), Corey Graham (hamstring), D.J. Alexander (quad)

Limited: Lane Johnson (ankle), Carson Wentz (rest; not injury related)

Full: Sidney Jones (ankle), Derek Barnett (shoulder), Corey Clement (quad), Jason Peters (quad)

Lane Johnson (ankle), Sidney Jones (ankle) and Jason Peters (quad) were all practicing Tuesday after being limited Monday. Johnson remained limited. D.J. Alexander (quad) went from limited to not practicing Tuesday.

It doesn't look great for Nate Gerry (ankle, knee), Corey Graham (hamstring), Haloti Ngata (calf) and Darren Sproles (hamstring), who missed practice again. Sproles will likely miss his fifth straight game.

The Eagles obviously have a short week to prepare for the Giants and they have a few guys banged up. Game statuses will be released on Wednesday.
