Eagles injury update: Jason Peters, Malcolm Jenkins return; Mychal Kendricks still out

A bunch of Eagles returned to practice on Saturday morning.

Headlining the group were Jason Peters (quad) and Malcolm Jenkins (hamstring). Both had been out of practice since getting hurt on Aug. 4. They missed four full days of practice and Thursday's game.

Wendell Smallwood (quad), JaCorey Shepherd (hamstring), Marcus Johnson (quad) and Marcus Smith (concussion) also returned early Saturday. Smallwood hadn't practiced since Aug. 1.

After leaving Thursday's game early, Brandon Brooks (right biceps) and Josh Andrews (ankle) were also practicing.

Missing at practice were Mychal Kendricks (hamstring), Mike Martin (knee), Jordan Matthews (knee) and Hunter Sharp (hamstring).

Matthews was known to be out for a while longer, but last week Doug Pederson said he expected Kendricks back on Saturday. It didn't happen. Najee Goode started for Kendricks on Thursday.
