All four Eagles preseason games next season will be broadcast on NBC10 as part of a new deal reached between the network, Comcast SportsNet and the team.
NBC10 and Comcast SportsNet will also feature expanded news coverage beginning with this month's NFL draft. It consists of live pre and postgame programming and weekly magazine shows, including Eagles Game Plan and Inside the Eagles, which will be aired on NBC10 and Comcast SportsNet.
All four preseason games will continue to re-air on Comcast SportsNet. The Eagles open the preseason against the Colts at Lincoln Financial Field. They then play the Ravens at home before facing the Packers and Jets on the road. Dates and times have yet to be announced.
“The Eagles are an institution in Philadelphia and we are proud to be ‘The Official Television Station of the Philadelphia Eagles,’ ” NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations President Valari Staab said. “Between new game-day programming, weekly team-focused shows and preseason games, NBC10 will be the home for wall to wall Eagles coverage, and we couldn’t be more excited about our new partnership.”
On Thursday, April 30 — the first day of the draft — Comcast SportsNet will air Draft Central at 6:30 p.m. and Eagles Draft Day at 7. Draft Central will also air on Friday at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
“Philadelphia already knows about the quality sports coverage that is at the core of NBC10 and Comcast SportsNet,” Eagles President Don Smolenski said. “We have had a long-standing relationship with Comcast SportsNet — a key driver of sports coverage in the city for more than two decades — and this new partnership allows us to build significantly upon that relationship."
