Sports fans looking for a distraction from the global pandemic finally got their fix after a roughly 17-minute introduction that felt a little too long. But the draft eventually started and the Cincinnati Bengals, as expected, made LSU quarterback and 2019 Heisman trophy winner Joe Burrows the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Carson Wentz and Eagles fans won’t be thrilled with the Washington Redskins selecting Ohio State stud Chase Young with the No. 2 pick while the New York Giants opted to give Daniel Jones protection in the form of Andrew Thomas, OT, from Georgia with the No. 4 pick.

Philly fans woke up a little around the No. 12 pick when the Las Vegas Raiders took the first WR of the draft in speedster Henry Ruggs from Alabama. The Niners went DT at No. 14 instead of WR though... then the Denver Broncos took Jerry Jeudy, coveted WR from Alabama. Atlanta went CB at No. 16... there was some drama in Philly when the disliked Dallas Cowboys hit the clock... and ugh, they went with WR CeeDee Lamb. That's a whole lot of weapons for Dak Prescott. The Jags go defense and the Eagles have a WR for the taking...

Howie Roseman decided to select Jalen Reagor, a speedy but shorter WR from TCU, over Justin Jefferson with the 21st pick. Here's our breaking news story on Jalen Reagor becoming the newest Eagle. The Eagles were reportedly "enamored" by some of Reagor's traits leading up to the draft. The Regor selection by the Eagles did not get very high marks in our draft grades.
