Eagles inactives: Peters set to start at right guard

Ray Didinger breaks down the Seahawks’ awful pass defense and explains why Carson Wentz could possibly begin to turn his season around in Week 12.

Jason Peters is going to try to play through a toe injury against the Seahawks on Monday Night Football.

The Eagles’ veteran offensive lineman will start tonight at right guard after the move from left tackle. The Eagles hope he’ll be able to be more agile inside with his toe injury. Peters came into Monday as the only Eagle listed as questionable.

That also means the Eagles will start their 10th different offensive line of the season tonight. Here’s their expected line:

LT: Jordan Mailata

LG: Isaac Seumalo

C: Jason Kelce

RG: Jason Peters

RT: Matt Pryor

And here are the Eagles’ inactive players for the game:

  • Rudy Ford (hamstring)
  • Lane Johnson (ankle)
  • Nate Sudfeld
  • Jason Huntley
  • Quez Watkins

Ford and Johnson are the only two players on the active roster who were ruled out on Saturday. Johnson will eventually be put on IR and will need another ankle surgery soon. His season is over.

No other surprises on the inactive list for tonight. Sudfeld hasn’t been active since Week 1, after which Jalen Hurts took over the No. 2 job.

Watkins has been inactive in four of the last five games and didn’t play in the other. The Eagles have five receivers in this game: Travis Fulgham, Jalen Reagor, Greg Ward, Alshon Jeffery, John Hightower.

Huntley is inactive for the third straight game. The Eagles have three running backs active: Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, Corey Clement. Clement makes his return from the active list.

DE Genard Avery, who was activated off IR, is active. So are DT T.Y. McGill and TE Caleb Wilson, who were elevated from the practice squad on Monday afternoon.
