Torrey Smith thanks Philly … but not this media personality

Eagles fans will always remember Torrey Smith.

He helped bring the city its first-ever Super Bowl championship with 13 catches for 157 yards and one touchdown during the playoffs. That touchdown, of course, will go down as one of the most memorable of the Super Bowl run — a 41-yard flea flicker that essentially punctuated the Eagles' 38-7 NFC Championship Game win.

So when the news broke Friday that Smith was being traded to the Panthers, it was without a doubt bittersweet for Philadelphia.

Not only will Eagles fans never forget Smith, but the wide receiver was also well liked and respected by his teammates and the entire organization.

And everyone loved him for not backing down to Howard Eskin in sports arguments, instead blowing up the radio personality's spot on Twitter.

Well, Smith had one last jab for Mr. Eskin when he posted a beautifully written and emotional thank you message on his Instagram account.

It is more than worth the read, and the final shot at Eskin made it even sweeter.

Enjoy it all below (click on the picture if you don't see the text), and props to Eskin for his message, as well.
