Chris Prongers back surgery in New York went well on Thursday morning, according to Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren.
Pronger had a disk fragment, which was pressing on a nerve, removed. He will begin walking rehab in a few days. At six weeks, he will begin core strengthening. Holmgren said a full recovery is anticipated.
Kris Versteeg had surgery to repair two tears in his abdominal wall. Rehab begins in 10 days.
Michael Leighton had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his hip. His rehab will begin in a few days.
