BOX SCORE

St. Paul, Minn. -- Michael Del Zotto scored the game-winning goal with 37 seconds remaining, as the Flyers defeated the Wild, 4-3, at the Xcel Energy Center.

Del Zotto scored twice and Sean Couturier and Ryan White added goals, as the Flyers (17-15-7) won their second straight and snapped a five-game road winless streak.

Couturier scored his fifth in nine games for the Flyers, who held on despite two unassisted goals by the Wild (21-12-7) to send the game into overtime. Couturier now has 10 points in his last nine games.

Defenseman Marco Scandella and forward Jason Zucker scored for Minnesota.

Zach Parise tied the game with an unassisted goal 13:36 into the third period off a Flyers turnover.

The Flyers outshot Minnesota, 15-10, in the first period despite a slow start. The Flyers held the Wild without a shot on goal for more than seven minutes during the period.

Couturier gave the Flyers a 1-0 lead during that stretch, scoring his eighth of the season 7:49 into the period. His new linemates, Michael Raffl and Brayden Schenn, assisted him on the goal.

Minnesota answered nearly seven minutes later on a slap shot by Scandella.

Del Zotto put the Flyers ahead on a four-on-four opportunity 9:02 into the period, followed by White's goal less than a minute later. The Wild cut the Flyers' lead to 3-2 on Zucker's breakaway goal.

The Wild outshot the Flyers, 6-0, to begin the third period, which included three shots on a power play, but didn't score until Parise's goal.

Notable goals
Del Zotto's first goal was his second of the season and gave the Flyers a 2-1 lead. The defenseman charged the length of the ice with the puck and passed to Schenn, who found him in front of the net for the score.

White's goal, his first in 10 games, came after a shot by Chris VandeVelde that Minnesota goalie Devan Dubnyk poke-checked away.

Dubnyk's diving effort left White with an open net.

Goalie report
Steve Mason withstood seven early Minnesota shots and three shots on a power play early in the third period to earn his eighth win in 24 games.

Power play
The Flyers were 0 for 2 on the power play.

Penalty kill
The Flyers killed the only penalty they faced.

Notable saves
Mason stopped a Minnesota odd-man rush attempt on the four-on-four stretch in the second. The Flyers scored moments later.

Injuries
Shayne Gostisbehere sustained a lower-body injury in the second period and did not return. VandeVelde returned after sustaining an injury in the second period.

Scratches
Newly acquired center Jordan Weal and defenseman Brandon Manning did not play for the Flyers. Nor did the Wild's Justin Fontaine and Nate Prosser.
