Just how big of a deal will Sidney Crosby, whose contract expires after the 2012-13 season, command from the Penguins?According the Hockey Night in Canada's Elliote Friedman, Pittsburgh could be looking at 10 years, 90 million if it hopes to sign Crosby to an extension.ProHockeyTalk writes that while Crosby "can essentially name his own price," he is more likely to accept a deal worth about 9 million per year so that the team can spend its money elsewhere. Currently, his cap hit sits at 8.7 million.The two sides cannot begin negotiations until July 1.News from RussiaFriedman also reported that Winnipeg Jets Goalie Ondrej Pavelec could receive a "one-year, big money offer" from a Kontinental Hockey League team.The 24-year-old Czech is a restricted free agent after posting a 29-28 record and 2.91 goals against average last season.Meanwhile, at a ceremony in Moscow, the Penguins' Evgeni Malkin was awarded the Kharlamov Trophy for being the Russian Player of the Year in the NHL, writes RT.com.Malkin, who was born in Magnitogorsk, a city in southwest Russia, posted 50 goals and 59 assists in 75 games in 2011-12.Return tripThe San Jose Sharks re-acquired defenseman Brad Stuart, their third overall pick in 1998, in a trade with the Detroit Red Wings Sunday afternoon, the Associated Press reports.The Sharks sent forward Andrew Murray and a conditional 2014 draft pick to Detroit.From 1999-2005, Stuart had 36 goals and 117 assists in 377 games with San Jose before being traded to Boston as part of the package for Joe Thornton.
