The Flyers Talk podcast discusses if 19-year-old defenseman Cam York is currently the club’s most exciting prospect?

The Flyers have a couple of golden prospects.

Cam York and Bobby Brink, two of the club's 2019 draft picks, earned themselves gold medals in the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship as the U.S. beat Canada, 2-0, Tuesday night in Edmonton, Alberta.

York, the Flyers' first-round pick and a sophomore at Michigan, was Team USA's captain. Tuesday night was the defenseman's 20th birthday and he presented his teammates with their gold medals.

York finished the tournament with six points (one goal, five assists) and a plus-4 rating in seven games.

Brink, a second-round pick of the Flyers and a sophomore winger at Denver, finished with six points (two goals, four assists) and a plus-8 mark in seven games.

Both will head back to school and continue their collegiate seasons.
