There will be no soccer action at PPL Park on Friday evening.

The Union have postponed their match with FC Dallas because of the threat of bad weather. The game has been rescheduled for Saturday afternoon.

Kickoff on Saturday is set for 4 p.m.

“We had every intention to play our match as originally scheduled, but the current weather conditions will challenge the safety of our fans, players, and staff, and they always will be our first priority,” Union CEO and Operating Partner Nick Sakiewicz said in a statement released by the team. “With a sunny day in the high 50’s forecasted for tomorrow, we look forward to welcoming everyone to a magnificent setting at PPL Park.”

The Union have started the 2015 MLS campaign with back-to-back draws. FC Dallas (2-0-0) has totaled four goals in two games thus far.
