Phillies (15-6) at Diamondbacks (8-12), 9:40 p.m. on CSN

Starting Pitchers
Phillies: Cliff Lee (2-1, 3.91) - The left-hander allowed three runs - two earned - and eight hits with one strikeout in six innings in his last start against Milwaukee. Lee last faced the Diamondbacks on Aug. 19, 2009, when he tossed a two-hitter in an 8-1 Phillies victory.

Diamondbacks: Ian Kennedy (2-1, 5.64) - Kennedy allowed one run and four hits in the Diamondbacks 3-1 victory over the Reds in his last start. In his only previous start versus the Phillies, Kennedy allowed two runs and four hits in eight innings of work.

Previous games
The Phillies are coming off a four-game series sweep of the Padres. Roy Halladay dominated in the finale, allowing five hits and one run in 8 23 innings while matching a career-high 14 strikeouts.

The Diamondbacks dropped all three games to the Mets over the weekend and have now lost four games in a row.

Head-to-head
The Philies went 4-2 against the Diamondbacks last season, including a three-game sweep at Citizens Bank Park in July. The teams have not met yet this season.

Who's hot?
Lefty Antonio Bastardo needed only one pitch to collect his first save of the season on Sunday. Bastardo has been sharp early on and has not allowed a run in 9 13 innings. Shane Victorino hit an inside-the-park home run in the Phillies 3-1 victory Sunday and now has 11 RBIs this season.

Storylines
Jose Contreras, who opened the season as Phillies' closer, was placed on the disabled list Sunday with a strained flexor pronator tendon in his right elbow. ... Ryan Madson will handle the bulk of the closer duties, with Bastardo assuming the set-up man role. ... The Phillies have outscored opponents 16-6 while winning five games in a row. ... The Phils 15-6 record is the best in baseball.

Sound off
On a scale of 1-10, how concerned are you about the injuries in the Phillies' bullpen?
