The 2020-21 Sixers are set to be in action for the first time in about two and a half weeks.
The NBA released its preseason schedule on Friday and the Sixers have two games, Dec. 15 vs. the Celtics and Dec. 18 at the Pacers. You can see the full preseason schedule here.
We already know the regular season schedule format, which features 42 intraconference games and 30 interconference games for each team. There will be a play-in tournament for the No. 7 through No. 10 seeds this season.

The league plans to announce the schedule for the first half of the season in the coming days, and to release the schedule for the second half near the middle of the season. The coronavirus pandemic presents a multitude of challenges for the NBA, including the possibility of postponed games.
Among the notable additions for the Sixers in president of basketball operations Daryl Morey’s first offseason with the team are Seth Curry, Danny Green and Dwight Howard. Two opening night starters from last season, Josh Richardson and Al Horford, have moved to different teams.
New head coach Doc Rivers’ first training camp with the Sixers is scheduled to start next Tuesday, Dec. 1.
