The Eastern Conference All-Stars have been announced, and the squad will include two Flyers: Mike Richards and Kimmo Timonen. Despite leading the team in points (and scoring more goals than Sidney Crosby), Richards was not on the All-Star ballot. But his merits haven't gone unnoticed, and he and Timonen will skate with the stars on January 21. This will be Timonen's third All-Star appearance.
We'll be at the Flyers homecoming today, watching one of the hottest teams in hockey. The team returns from a rampage of a road trip, having won their last three and six of their last seven. If you're there, feel free to buy us beer.
