The Sixers seemed to dominate the Kings early and were off to a fast start with their new lineup of Sammy, Korver, A.I., CWebb, and Iggy. The Kings battled back and eventually ruined CWebb's first game as a Sixer. Former Sixer Corliss Williamson played really well for the Kings throwing in 17 points on 7 of 11 shooting. Kenny Thomas also had a great performance for the Kings putting up 16. When did he do this for us?
Webber grabbed a rebound when Iverson missed a free throw on purpose with 3 seconds left but couldn't connect on a 4 footer to put the game into OT. I think we can write this one off to the Sixers not having much time to practice with their newly formed squad. They had 5 players in double figures led by A.I.'s 27 points and 14 assists.
The fans seemed to give Webber a great welcome both when he was announced pre-game and any time he scored or made a big play. I sat about 3 rows from the top of the Wack Center which actually isn't a horrible seat, definitely not a good seat, but a good time none the less.

A nice article from Foxsports.com's Dime Magazine talking about Chris Webbers great reception in Philly and how they think he will fit in just right.
